CrestBid is model-flexible. You can run entirely on local models for zero data exposure, or — on paid tiers — connect cloud providers when you want maximum capability for a specific project.
Local models
Run open models directly on your GPU. Nothing leaves your machine. This is the default and the right choice for sensitive material.
Cloud models (paid tiers)
Connect a provider of your choice for tasks where you want a frontier model. When a cloud model is selected, prompts and context are sent to that provider — so choose per project based on sensitivity.
Choosing per project
- Default to local models for confidential or regulated bids.
- Consider a cloud model for non-sensitive, high-stakes narrative sections.
- Mix freely — the model is a per-project setting.
